Dear Everyone
Thank you for the support at the Christchurch Art Show. Over 450 people put their names forward for the mounted print. A lovely lady from Lincoln had her name drawn out the box by the Show's organiser. I was so pleased to give this to her in person. All the prints are very limited editions so I do not have many left. ( Please contact me if you are interested at $150 each)
I did appreciate all the lovely comments and good wishes from everyone who stopped by my display. It is very encouraging to get that support. Next week is the Kaiapoi Art Expo being held at the Kaiapoi Club (15/16 July). As part of this event I am having an open studio from 11 - 3pm on Wednesday 12th July. Then it is on to the Anthony Wilding exhibition at the end of July. (29/30) Am painting new works for these as well.
Along with 5 other local artists I am taking part in the 100 day Challenge. This involves doing a small painting every day for 100 days and posting them on a joint website. It is a really good discipline and while a challenge some days it is really rewarding.
Very best wishes
Carol
