Dear Friends and Collectors
The recent Kaiapoi Art Expo is the first event I have been involved in since the Christchurch Art Show in March. ( I was delighted to sell new works there too.) The really good aspect of this time between the events has meant that I have been able to work on a solid set of work for the Auckland Art Show in September. These are all oils and some big canvasses too.
These new works are based on a trip to Te Anau, Milford and Doubtful Sound early May. We were incredibly lucky with the weather as it was fine the whole time and the dark brooding mountains of winter time added to the atmosphere.
I am always grateful to people commenting on my work so if you to make suggestions about improvements etc I am open to new ideas.
Very best wishes
Carol
