I have been experimenting with Windsor and Newton's latest twilight watercolours. They have been really interesting to use and help provide the type of atmosphere I want to project in my paintings. I have put further twilight paintings on my website as well. My next big challenge is to paint larger works using the same colours.
I will still use trees as subjects though. They always help provide an air of mystery - what have they seen - what do they know? I always think they provide shelter, beauty and comfort for us all.
